Saw the tender foot of Beauty,
Saw the shape of Beauty moving
Downward to his own creation.
He touched his foot upon the hilltop.

Then the waters, dark and formless,
Swirling in the deep abysses
Upward surged, cold and springing,
Filling all the world with waters,
Bringing new life Under Starlight.
All the world was filled with waters,
Filled with healing, crystal waters,
Flowing o’er the plains our fathers
Left to seek the Inland Waters,
And the lands the mighty giants
Ruled as tyrants under Heaven.
