Verses for the prayers of Hasanyah the Queen, to be sung at the Midnight Song: VIII. For Ferial Days of the Month of Mjath

Three verses.

In the sky the Bow is rising
To the place of ancient rule
In the Lotus of the Heavens
Where the will of Nankeinela
First was seen by mortals dwelling
In the wide lands Under Starlight.

In the wide lands Under Starlight
Now the Bow is swiftly drawing.
Let the arrow, swiftly speeding,
Reach the mark which time appoints it.
I will wait beneath the heavens,
I will keep my Midnight Vigil.

As I keep my Midnight Vigil
I will sing the words Hasanyah—
Dearest Queen, beloved of Children—
Penned when Ranhor, mighty scion,
Built his gates of shining iron,
Made them proof against all magic.
