Four verses.
Orkon shook to hear the trumpet
Of the Guardian of the Waters.
Many monsters then in terror
Fled into the raging waters.
So the surging tempest took them
Down into the deep abysses.
Surging tempest of my anger—
Let it rage against my passions,
Let it wash away the monsters,
All the envy which within me
Breeds and festers now at midnight.
Let it swallow up desire.
Let it swallow up desire—
All the lusts that rage against me—
Until clean as any seashore
Waters spring again within me—
Healing waters, sacred fountain,
Which no evil thing approaches.
Seven swan-things Raos promised
To the Children of the Water:
Seven born and bound by Heaven
To give aid to Sencan’s people.
One fulfilled the role assigned him—
Six remain to aid the Children.
