Three verses.
When the Hunter clad in silver
Comes to war against the Darkness—
When the Lady, World’s First Mother
Break the hated charms of Orkon—
When the sorrows Under Starlight
Ended are—then comes the Morning.
When the Polestar from the Heavens
Blazing on the Northern seacoast
Comes to cast into the darkness
Orkon into deep abysses—
When the Song of Ages, ending,
Ends our sorrows, then comes rejoicing.
When the Hunter clad in silver
On the ramparts of the Heavens
Stands and casts down Margloth’s dragons—
When he slays the Beast of Midnight
With the arrows of his quiver—
Then the Children cease their weeping.
