Now the Bow in Middle Heaven
Over all things Under Starlight,
Rules, while the Stars of Heaven
Dance the Dance of Ages taught them
By the Maker, First and Endless,
Who first sang the Song of Ages.
Laran’s bow upon the Isle,
That which wounded mighty Orkon,
And the bow on sodden Denthfeld—
Landras’ bow which wounded Peiboth,
Slew him on the field of battle,
We recall with lamentation.
